The overseas medical education seminar conducted by Santa Monica in association with Malayala Manorama would be held on 15 June at the DC Auditorium in Kottayam at 10 am and also at Hotel Hilltop, Kanjirappally, at 3 pm.

On 16 June, the seminar would be conducted at the NSS union hall at Chethimattam in Pala at 10 am and at 3 pm at Moonlight hotel, Thodupuzha.

Those interested in gaining admission to a foreign university for medical education can attend the seminar on 17 June at 10 am at the Kattapana Service Cooperative bank auditorium.

Experts would conduct sessions about the possibilities of pursuing a foreign medical degree. They will explain about the various opportunities to study medicine at more than 20 approved medical colleges in 15 countries.

The tuition fee, excluding other expenses, for a 6-year course would be more than Rs 15 lakh.

Last year, more than 3500 students from Kerala flew to various countries to pursue medical education.

The officials of the Santa Monica say that it cooperates with around 15 foreign universities.

Opportunities for spot counselling and registration too would be arranged as part of the seminar. The copies of the certificates should be submitted for registration. The entry to the seminar is free.
