Why Rafique's 'Feel at Home' is a blessing to Indian students abroad
Feel at Home collaborates with landlords and helps students to have their first residences ready in the new country.

It was in 2017 that Keralite Mohammed Rafique launched Feel At Home, a service offering ready-to-move-in student accommodation facilities.Starting out in Ireland's Dublin, Feel At Home looks forward to expand to the US, UK, New Zealand, Australia and other sought-after educational destinations the world over.

“Due to the rise in the number of students studying abroad, there is a soaring demand for hassle-free, safe and cost-effective accommodation and the service has been tailor-made to meet this demand,” Rafique said.

There is a lot of uncertainty among Indian parents when it comes to secure reception of and accommodation for their children who fly to the western countries for studies. Feel At Home's services include a 'meet-and-greet' at the airport, taking the students to the pre-arranged accommodation, familiarisation trips to the college, accommodation facilities, city, and public transports and everything needed for a newbie in the city.

"Our experts will also assist the students for opening bank accounts, public service card/GNIB/SIN card/NI number among others," Rafique added.

Rafique, who had his graduation and post-graduation in Ireland, sensed a pressing need for reliable accommodation for Indian students in western countries.

Feel at Home collaborates with landlords and helps students to have their first residences ready in the new country. Often, the absence of a good bank statement and credit history works as a deterrent in securing one's first residence.

The company has a portfolio of students partnering with them and allocates budget, chooses location and a secure community-specific accommodation to those opting for its services.
