Kottayam: Mahatma Gandhi University will resume the exams, that were postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, from the third week of May, the Controller of Examinations has said.

The sixth and fourth semester exams of the undergraduate (UG) courses will begin on May 18 and 19.

The fifth semester exams of the private UG courses will be held from May 25.

The practical tests of the sixth and fourth semester UG exams will be held from May 25 and May 28, respectively, at the respective colleges.

The fourth semester exams of the post-graduate (PG) courses will be held from May 25.

The PG practical tests will begin on June 8.

The UG second semester exams will be held from the second week of June. The second semester practical tests will also be completed in June.

A detailed time-table of the exams will be issued later.

The exams will be rescheduled as per the government's instructions.

The valuation will be completed within a week from June 1 at nine centres.
