Kuttikkanam: All around the world, people are taking necessary steps to protect themselves and their families from the COVID-19, to support their communities, and prevent the spread of the outbreak.

In a bid to get people around the world to share ideas on their fight against the pandemic, Marian International Institute of Management (MIIM), Kuttikanam is organizing an online short video contest titled 'My Fight against COVID-19.' The focus of the video should be on creating awareness among the public as to what can be done to keep COVID-19 at bay.

Videos can be submitted through the official website of the college on or before April 30. All the received entries will be posted on social media by May 1. Videos with maximum likes and shares will be shortlisted for the final prize. The video clips submitted should not exceed 1 minute. The contest is open for people across the world and there will not be restricted by language.

"The objective of this contest is to share the importance of staying home to break the chain of COVID-19 pandemic," told Ms Juanita Merin Thomas, Vice-Chairperson, MISTA (Students association, MIIM).

Winners will be given prizes worth $1000 (USD) and no registration fees will be charged.
