Online classes: Schools to send worksheets to student homes

Kozhikode: The education department has decided to send worksheets to assess the students’ learning during these days of online education.

Worksheets will be distributed at the children's homes by the Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK).

The 20-page worksheet is based on the portions covered by the KITE Victers channel in each subject. The worksheets have been prepared such that these appeal to the children.

Though strict deadlines are not given, teachers have been directed to continuously monitor the progress and to give necessary guidelines.

In the first phase, an illustrated worksheet, named Vazhikatti, would be distributed at the home of primary school students. Students should not be summoned to schools but instead the worksheets should be sent to their homes.

Though parents can help the students to complete the task, they have been asked not to compel the children.
