"As the famous Chinese proverb goes, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And that step, is your dream" says Anu Kumari IAS who had cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017 with an all India rank of 2.
"I was away from studies for about a decade and had been working in the private sector when I started preparing for the exam. I gave up my job and had to leave my four-year-old son too for concentrating on the preparation. But once you believe you can, you actually can" adds Anu Kumari, a native of Sonipat district in Haryana. She is presently the Sub Collector and Sub Divisional Magistrate of Thalassery.
