First Bell online classes (I-IX) to end by April 30

Thiruvananthapuram: The First Bell digital classes on the KITE-Victers channel for students from class I to IX is set to be completed by April 30. However, classes for Plus-One students would continue in May, said K Anwar Sadat, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education). 

Online classes from April 1 to 4 have also been suspended for students except for Plus-One, for which some lessons would be telecast on April 3. 

The CEO also said that the First Bell digital classes, which were launched in view of the COVID-19 crisis, were completing 10 months on March 31. Till now, 7.500 classes in Malayalam, English, Tamil and Kannada medium having a total duration of 3,750 hours have been telecast over the channel. 

All the lessons for students in standard ten and Plus-Two who are writing their board exams, including live phone-in-classes, are also over. KITE Victers channel has now planned inspirational classes for these students who are facing the crucial board exams. These classes, which would be imparted by experts such as Chief Secretary of Kerala Dr V P Joy, will start soon, added the KITE CEO.
