New Delhi: A high-level meeting attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Monday is expected to decide on whether to cancel the Class 12 examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in view of the COVID -19 situation in the country.
Even though the CBSE exam is not part of the agenda, the meeting would be discussing the matter, according to officials.
The topic of the meeting, in which Secretaries in charge of Education in various states would take part, is the impact of the pandemic on the academic activities in India.
CBSE officials are also among the participants.
The authorities had earlier cancelled the CBSE's Class 10 examinations.
