KEAM 2021 application process begins | Here's a list of important dates

Thiruvananthapuram: Applications can be submitted for medical and engineering degree courses through the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from Tuesday.

Candidates, seeking admission to medical and engineering courses, should submit only one online application even if they are opting to apply for more than one course. For securing admission in medical and allied courses, candidates have to qualify in the NEET UG exam.

Admission to engineering and pharmacy courses will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Important Dates

•For architecture course, National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) qualification should be secured before August 15.

•Along with the KEAM application, the candidate’s photo, certificate in proof of the date of birth and document in proof of nativity should be uploaded before June 21.

•Related documents, except date of birth and nativity, can be uploaded till 5pm on June 30.

•The engineering and pharmacy entrance examination will be held on June 24. Physics and chemistry exams will be held from 10am to 12.30pm, and Maths exam will be held from 2.30pm to 5pm.

No need of sending applications by post

The applications and related documents need not be sent to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by post.

Admission to the courses of MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BTech, BPharm, B.Arch, BSc Honours Agriculture, BSc Honours Forestry, veterinary and fisheries would be based on this application.

Candidates should be 17 years old on December 31 this year. No upper age limit for architecture and BPharm courses. The upper age limit for medical and allied courses will be as per the NEET-UG terms.
