Entrance test for admissions to central universities next month

Periya (Kasaragod): The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET–2021) would be held on September 15, 16, 23 and 24.

This entrance examination is for admissions to various courses/programmes in 12 central universities across the country.

Interested students may apply for integrated graduate courses, post-graduate and MPhil courses until 11.50 pm on 1 September. Meanwhile, the fee could be paid till 2 September.

Online applications could be submitted on the website cucet.nta.nic.in.

The examination procedures are coordinated by the Central University of Punjab in association with the National Testing Agency.

The computer-based entrance examination would be held in various centers around the country. In Kerala, the centers are at Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam/Angamaly/Muvattupuzha, Kottayam, Alappuzha/Chengannur, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.

In all 307 post-graduate courses and 63 graduate courses are open in 12 central universities. There are 1,384 seats for various courses in the Central University of Kerala. (Phone: – 0467 2309467, 2309466. Email – admissions@cukerala.ac.in.)

Candidates in the Deneral and Other Backward Classes categories should pay Rs 800 to apply for three courses.

The fee is Rs 350 for Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste students.
