Thiruvananthapuram: The first allotment list for the first year admission in higher secondary and VHSE has been published today. Meanwhile, the admission process begins on September 23 at 9:00 am for higher secondary amd 10 am for VHSE. While VHSE students can seek admission till September 29, higher secondary students can do it till October 1. The details of the allotment are available in the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in

Those who are included in the allotment list should download the allotment letter by clicking on the ‘First Allot Results’ link in the candidate login page. They should reach the allotted school, along with their parent/guardian on the date and time that are given in the allotment letter in order to submit the original certificates and confirm their admission.

The candidates who got their desired option in the first allotment itself should take permanent admission by paying the fee. Meanwhile, those who got other options could seek temporary admission without paying the fee. However, they should submit the original transfer certificate and conduct certificate during the time of admission.

Those who haven’t been able to apply until now can do so in the supplementary allotment that comes after the second allotment. Candidates who weren’t included in the previous allotment lists as they had given wrong information at the time of application, too could re apply during the supplementary allotment stage. The sports quota allotment list too would be published then. Their admission would take place on September 25 and 29.

Principals of the schools have been instructed to ensure that the pandemic protocols are strictly followed during the admission process. They must also ensure that students get up to 15 minutes each to complete the admission procedures at school. The printed copies of the allotment letter should be given to all the students. Those who reside in critical containment zones and those who are quarantining could seek admission online using the ‘online joining’ link in the website.
