PSC 10th level preliminary exam: Shortlist for 192 categories published

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the shortlist for the 192 categories for which the 10th level preliminary exam was held.

The various categories include state- and district-level posts, special recruitment and posts for which no candidates are available. Those who have qualified to appear in the main exam to be held in November and December need not give any specific confirmation. The admission ticket will be made available 15 days prior to the exam date. No change in the exam date or centre will be allowed.

Special arrangements will be made at the exam centre for candidates afflicted with COVID-19. They need to contact the district PSC office in advance.

As the preliminary exam was held in various phases, the evaluation was conducted after the standardisation of marks of each phase. The PSC had constituted an expert committee to prepare such criteria scientifically. The PSC has published the committee’s report on the website for the candidates.

Detailed syllabus

The PSC has also published the dates of the main examination and the detailed syllabus for the various posts. The subjects which have been included in the syllabus and the marks allotted to these are also given. This is for the first time that such a detailed syllabus has been made available.
