NEET PG: Applications can be filed till February 4

The  medical doctors can register online for NEET- PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Post Graduate) for MD, MS, PG Diploma aimed  at attaining professional excellence , till February 4.

In case of any mistake in the application  there would be time from February 24 to 27 to rectify the mistakes. The  computerized  test will be held from 9 am March 12 at various centers. The 256 centers include Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam , Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur , Kasargod, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai , Delhi. Since  examination centers are finalized and granted on the basis of application, the candidates need to register at the earliest.

SC/ST, differently abled categories - Rs  3250 . Fees can  be deposited online.

One would  not get admission  only with the rank in NEET. The conditions laid down for  admission eligibility also need to be complied with.  One can train by watching the demo test on the website on March 1.

The three and a half hour test will have 200 multiple choice questions. Each right answer will have 4 marks, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The test will be according to the MBBS syllabus approved by the old Indian Medical Council.

Where will all the admission be ?

As much as 50 per cent all India quota and state quota in  all states and union territories. Seats of all private medical colleges in India, institutions, universities, deemed universities, armed forces medical college seats (AFMC Pune, army hospital Delhi, INHS Ashwani Mumbai, Command Hospital Bengaluru/Kolkata/Chandimandir, Haryana/Lucknow,  Institute of  fire force medicine Bengaluru, post MBBS DNB courses, post MBBS NBEMS courses .

The PG  admission to the following institutions is not through this test; AIIMS institutions,  PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, Sree Chitra Institute Thiruvananthapuram. 

Besides these institutions,  no institutions or universities will conduct entrance exams for  admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma.

After passing MBBs, Internship should  be completed at least by May 31, 2022. Document to show medical council registration should be produced at the time of exams. Those who did  MBBS course from abroad should pass Foreign Medical Graduates Screening Test.
