The National Medical Commission has published the schedule of the counselling sessions for the admission to undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS and BDS, for the academic year 2021–22.
The counselling will be done by the central Medical Counselling Committee and the state authorities.
The Commission suggested that all the colleges and institutes that take part in the counselling should consider all holidays, including Saturdays and Sundays, as working days, as the admission process has to be completed within a short span of time. Parents of candidates too should be prepared and do the necessary arrangements as they might have to take swift decisions and get ready for long-distance journeys to join at the colleges.
