The seat allotment list after the first-round counselling for the all–India undergraduate medical admission process has been released by the Medical Counselling Committe
Aspirants may download the list that contain detailed information about the allotments, rank, quota, college, courses, allotted categories and the category of the candidate for admission to the MBBS, BDS and BSC nursing programmes.
The candidates may report at the college until 5 pm from February 2 to 7. They have to reach the college and join directly in case he/she wishes to keep the seat that has been allotted in the first allotment.
Upgradation is possible in the second round and they may give their preferred choices in this round. In case the upgradation isn’t allowed, these candidates can still retain the first seat. Meanwhile, if they don’t want the first seat, they can opt for ‘free exit’ and register for the second round of allotment. Then, the candidates would neither lose their security deposit nor further chances to take part in the counselling.
If the candidates get upgradation in the second round, they should secure the ‘online generated relieving letter’ and join for the new seat. They have to get the relieving letter even if they are transferring to another category in the same college.
