JIPMER, Puducherry, invites applications for BSc medical technology programmes

Online applications are invited for various BSc programmes at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, a premier institute under the central government.

Interested candidates can submit online applications until 5 pm on 14 March.

BSc programmes (4 year)
B Sc Allied Medical Sciences (11 courses): While Medical Lab Technology has 37 seats, there are only 10 seats each for the rest of the programmes such as Anesthesia Technology, Optometry, Cardiac Lab Technology, Dialysis Therapy Technology, Blood Banking, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Neuro Technology, Nuclear Medicine tech, Perfusion Technology and Radiotherapy Technology.

Eligibility
The applicants should have scored a rank in the NEET–UG, 2021. Those who have passed Plus-Two with at least 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Biology can apply.

Meanwhile, Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates need 40% and physically disabled candidates who belong to general category require 45%.

There is no upper-age bar for applying to these courses.

Reservations are available for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, persons with disabilities and natives of Puducherry.

Selected candidates need to pay only Rs 11,410, including Rs 1,200 as tuition fee at the time of admission.

Hostel facilities are available on the campus.
