JEE – Main: First phase registration to be completed before 31 March

New Delhi: The online registration and application for the first phase of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE ) – Main has begun and will continue until 5 pm on 31 March. Meanwhile, the applicants could pay the fee until 11.30 pm on the same date. Interested candidates should log into https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ for registration.

Last year, the JEE – Main was held in four phases. However, this year, the entrance test would be held twice, as the COVID-19 situation has improved in the country.

In case the applicants write both the exams, then the best among the two scores would be considered as the final score. The candidates can write the exam in regional languages, including Malayalam.

The scores of the JEE – Main exam would be considered for admission to premier technical institutes in the country like the National Institute of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Around 1.5 lakh candidates who score top ranks would be shortlisted for the JEE – Advanced exam for admission to the IITs. This exam has been scheduled on 3 July.
