Last date for applying for first phase of JEE (Main) extended

The National Testing Agency (www.nta.ac.in) announced that the online application for the first phase of the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) or JEE (Main) could be done until 9.50 pm on April 5. The exam fee could be paid until 11.50 pm on the same date.

Earlier, it was announced that the last date of application for the first session of the entrance was March 31.

The exam has been scheduled on April 21, 24, 25 and 29 and on May 1 an 4.

The number of overseas exam centres for the entrance has been increased from 13 to 25.
