Fashion designing | Online application open for the BDes course at IFTK, Kundara

The Kerala government has joined hands with Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), an institute of national importance, to begin the Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) in Kundara, Kollam.

Those who wish to pursue courses in fashion designing and technology, at IFTK, can apply online, for the 4 year BDes (Bachelor of Design), until June 15. Website: www.iftk.ac.in.

The application fee will be Rs 1500.

The graduation will be awarded by the University of Kerala. The course is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility
Aspirants who have completed plus two can apply for this course. There will be an aptitude test on the third week of June, prior to the selection process.

The test would evaluate the general Ability (quantitative/ communication/analytical), English proficiency, observation skills, novel ideas, creative flair and colour sense. The selected candidates should attend an interview too.

Reservations are available as per the guidelines of the Kerala government and the university. The classes are likely to begin by the second week of July. Check the prospectus for detailed information.
