SD College NCC Alumni organise meet to spread awareness on e-waste management

A cycle rally to spread the message was flagged off by the District Police Chief Jaydev IPS from Alappuzha beach: Special Arrangement

Sanatana Dharma College NCC Alumni, Alappuzha organised an alumni meet to celebrate the platinum jubilee of the institute. Senior delegates across India, who passed out from the college, participated in the event held on May 14-15.

The alumni meet was also an attempt to raise awareness on e-waste management. The participants collected e-waste from across the district and segregated them for upcycling and scientific disposal.

A cycle rally to spread the message was flagged off by the District Police Chief Jaidev G IPS from Alappuzha beach.

Major General Alok Beri, Additional Director General, NCC Kerala & Lakshadweep Directorate, was the chief guest of the function on day two.

The function was presided by the president Reyas M, 11 Kerala Bn Commanding officer Col, Abhijeet Bhambre, Admin Officer Col. Jagdish Chandra, college manager Krishnakumar, alumni president Venktarama Iyer, platinum jubilee coordinator Dr Nagendra Prabhu and Captain Anupama.
