Ezhukon: Akshaikumar’s eyes welled up as he saw his SSLC mark list where he scored A plus grades for eight subjects. However, those weren’t tears of joy; instead, his heart ached in the memory of his beloved father who had passed away last month.

Akshai is the younger son of Gireesh Kumar (47), a native of Irumbanagad in Kollam district.. It was Gireesh’s dream to give good education to his children. However, he wasn’t fortunate to watch his son pass class ten exams with good grades. Akshai scored A plus grades for eight subjects while he has an A and B plus each for two subjects.

Gireesh had suffocated to death on 4 May while attempting to clean a well. Akshai is a student of AEPMHSS, Irubanangad. He wrote the IT exam, a day after his father’s death. However, Akshai wasn’t informed about Gireesh’s death on that day. He got the devastating news only after he returned from the exam hall.
