Kottarakkara: Kuldeep Yadav who came all the way from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh is now a star at his school here as he scored A plus grades for all the subjects. His parents have been settled in Kerala as guest labourers. He achieved this amazing academic success by not just fighting poor living conditions, but financial struggles and language barriers too. His father Ram Karan is a construction worker while his mother works in the cashew factory.
It was a decade and a half ago that the family reached Kerala. Since then, they have been living in a rented house, that is almost in a dilapidated state. Kuldeep who is fluent in Malayalam showed excellence in studies from a young age itself.
However, the family had often struggled with the meagre income of his parents. Ram Karan and his wife lost their jobs during the lockdown period. They hardly had any income then. Kuldeep wishes to become an IPS officer. Meanwhile, his younger sister Anamika studies in class nine in the same school.
