Apply for 1000 PG Diploma seats at NIHFW

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare is an autonomous institute functioning under the aegis of Central Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi. Applications are invited for the six PG Diploma programs that would be conducted on the distance mode. Medical / non-medical graduates can apply for these courses. The last date to receive the applications that need to be sent via posts is 31 August. Meanwhile, applications could be sent until 15 September by paying late fee.

There are 300 seats for PG Diploma in Hospital Management while 100 seats are up for grabs for Health and Family Welfare Management. Aspirants could apply to 150 seats in Health Promotion and 150 seats in Health Communication. Public Health Nutrition has 150 seats and Applied Epidemiology too has 150 seats.

All these programs have the approval of the All India Council For Technical Education. The courses last for 15 months. The candidates should reach the institute to write the final exam. Meanwhile, 25 candidates who are sponsored by the state satellite centers can write the exams there.

The total fee is Rs 21,000 including the application fee. The application that is filled – in the specific format should be sent along with the required documents and a demand draft of Rs 21,000. There are separate prospectus for each program.
