Mohali girl sells gol gappas to earn money for higher education

The virtual world is full of praise for the young woman who runs a chaat stall to fund her higher education. Poonam who hails from Punjab works hard, rather than depending on her family members, to earn money for her education. She runs a quaint chaat stall in Mohali. Noted food vlogger Harry Uppal visited her stall and speaks to Poonam about her business. The video has now become viral and many are visiting Poonam’s stall to taste her chaat dishes. Moreover, they are eager to appreciate her for her determination.

Poonam says that she herself makes tasty dishes like papadi chaat, aloo tikki and dai balle. The revenue that she earns from the chaat stall is used for her education. Poonam says that she had another job earlier. However, she quit that job as she couldn’t manage her work and studies. She then opened the chaat stall so that she could earn an income without disrupting her studies.

Interestingly, this video has garnered more than seven million views. Lots of people commented that Poonam is a smart girl who has a bright future ahead. Meanwhile, some others noted that she prepares and serves food neatly.
