MTech at ER&DCI Institute: Application closes on Aug 31

Applications are invited for the newly introduced two-year full-time MTech courses by the ER&DCI Institute of Technology in Thiruvananthapuram.

The last date for application is August 31.

The institute functions under the aegis of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the research centre instituted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

The degree is awarded by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

ER&DCI is the Academic Wing of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC).

The programmes
1. MTech: VLSI and Embedded Systems
2. MTech: Cyber Forensics and Information Security

There are 18 seats for each course. Among these two are sponsored seats. Besides, two seats for both the courses have been reserved for economically weaker sections.

The fee for the entire course is Rs 2,85,000.

Eligibility
The applicants have to pass Engineering in the respective streams with at least 60% marks. Meanwhile, it is 54% for backward communities.

Candidates from the Scheduled Caste/Tribe communities just need to pass the exam. Those who have professional membership need 55% marks and GATE score in section B. Those who have written the final semester exams too can apply.

Candidates who have GATE score would be ranked first. In case there aren’t many candidates with GATE score, then those who do not have GATE scores too would be considered based on their marks until the sixth semester.
