You can remit fees without fine for the plus one improvement, supplementary exams to be held from October 25th to 29th today and tomorrow. The exam timetable and other dates were published yesterday evening. So the last date to remit fees without fines and apply is September 5th.

But since schools are shutting down tomorrow for Onam vacations, if you don’t remit fees before that, you will require to pay a fine along with the fees when the schools reopen on the 12th of this month.

The last date for remitting fees with a fine of Rs 20 is October 13th. After that, till the 15th you need to pay a fine of Rs 600 along with the fees. Already there are protests against this fine, citing that for October end exams, they are exploiting the situation during the Onam season when your expenses are higher.

Besides they haven’t published the plus one revaluation test results. This time there is a specialty in the fact that the student will be awarded even 1 mark extra they get during the revaluation tests. But then to insist on remitting fees for the improvement exams before the results clearly suggest financial gains.

The teachers' organization AHSDA General Secretary S Manoj has requested more time for students to remit fees and that they should be allowed to do that after the Onam vacations.
