The last date for remitting fees with a fine of Rs 20 is October 13th. After that, till the 15th you need to pay a fine of Rs 600 along with the fees. Already there are protests against this fine, citing that for October end exams, they are exploiting the situation during the Onam season when your expenses are higher.

This time there is a specialty in the fact that the student will be awarded even 1 mark extra they get during the revaluation tests. But then to insist on remitting fees for the improvement exams before the results clearly suggest financial gains.

The teachers' organization AHSDA General Secretary S Manoj has requested more time for students to remit fees and that they should be allowed to do that after the Onam vacations.
