You need to submit options for the first phase allotment for Kerala Medical PG Entrance on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in by 4 pm tomorrow. Option submission denotes picking your choice of course-college combinations and submitting it online. You have to remit Rs 10,000 as a security deposit, while other backward categories (and OE) will need to remit Rs 5000.
If there are discrepancies in the documents submitted by the NRIs they should immediately make corrections. There are allowances for those who have submitted expired or to-be-expired visas. They should submit an affidavit, a valid visa, or a receipt to show that they have applied for a visa renewal and upload it on the last date of the second allotment.
Further information about fee allotment and the date of college reopening will be notified on the website later on. The annual fees in govt colleges will be Rs 77,180. Those who get an allotment/ entrance in the first phase will get a free exit. They won't be considered for the second phase. More options will be given in the mop-up.
There are no provisions to provide a new option in the second phase. Having said that they have the option to change the options submitted during the first phase as well as change the course of the options and remove the ones they don’t want. Those who got admitted to college during the second round won’t be considered for the subsequent rounds. Their list will be sent to the central government. Subsequently, they won't be allowed to join other colleges in India. They can opt not to join the college according to the second allotment, join in the first and second phases, and exit before the mop-up notification. But they will lose their security deposit. Those who quit the second round after the last date of joining won’t be considered.
Those who quit their seat after the mop-up notification will lose their security deposit. Not only do they need to remit 10% of the yearly fees as a fine but they won't be considered for counselling later.
