Malappuram: Admission process to the paramedical graduate courses, except nursing, is yet to commence as the Kerala Government nod is awaited.

LBS Centre For Science & Technology which conducts uniform allotment to these courses is yet to invite applications, except for the nursing courses.

The government needs to give approval to the paramedical courses at private colleges, each year. The delay in this regard is reportedly blamed for the impasse.

Meanwhile, three allotments have been made for admission to nursing courses.

Every year, admission to the paramedical courses begins in October. Admission to 12 paramedical courses including Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Dialysis Technology and Audiology is conducted alongside nursing. This allowed the students to choose their preferred course. This year, only the option to apply for nursing was available on the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.

Even though the authorities have promised to provide the opportunity to apply for other courses soon, it isn’t available yet.
