CBSE Ernakulam district arts fest from Nov 11 to 13

Kochi: Kalotsav 2022, the district-level arts festival of CBSE schools, will be held at Kalady Sree Sarada Vidyalaya from November 11 to 13. As many as 62 CBSE schools under Kochi Metro Sahodaya will participate in the event.

Film actors Priya Varrier and Sarjano Khalid and director Ranjith Sankar will jointly inaugurate the arts festival at 9.30 am on November 11. Roji M John MLA will be the chief guest. Adi Shankara Group of Institutions Managing Trustee K Anand will light the Kalotsav lamp. Justice Devan Ramachandran will inaugurate the valedictory function at 6 pm on November 13. He will also distribute the prizes to the winners.

Over 3,000 students will compete in 145 events in the three-day arts fest, Kochi Metro Sahodaya President Deepa Chandran, Secretary Juby Paul and Treasurer Bobby Joseph informed. They said all the preparations for the event have been completed. Food will be distributed to over 1,500 students three times a day.

The competitions will be held on 10 stages. The arts fest is being organised jointly by Kochi Metro Sahodaya and the Ernakulam district wing of the CBSE School Management Association.
