NEET-PG: Supreme Court sets deadline for second round counselling

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the State governments that the second round of NEET counselling for postgraduate courses for the year 2022-23 should be completed before 6 pm on November 16.

The court also ordered that the data be handed over to the counselling committee after the process is over. After this, the authorities concerned could conduct the mop-up round.

The order was passed by the court while considering a contempt petition alleging that the second round of counselling was still being conducted in some places even as the mop-up round had begun.
