PG Diploma programmes at IIPM, B'luru; applications close on Jan 31

The Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Bengaluru, an autonomous organization under the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has invited applications for admission to two-year Post-Graduate Diploma programmes. You may apply online till January 31.

The application fee is Rs 1,250 for General category candidates and Rs 625 for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disabilities categories.

Courses and eligibility

PG Diploma in Management: Agribusiness and Plantation Management

The applicant must hold a valid Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST, and PwD candidates). Preference will be given to candidates having a Degree in Agriculture and allied subjects.

PG Diploma in Management: Food Processing and Business Management

The applicant must hold a valid Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for those belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories). Preference will be given to candidates having a Degree in Food Science and allied subjects.

PG Diploma in Management: Agricultural Export & Business Management (4th Batch)

The candidate must hold a valid Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50 % marks (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH candidates). Preference will be given to candidates having a Degree in Agriculture and allied subjects.

Candidates with a Grade-Point Average equivalent to 50% aggregate marks can also apply. They must submit the valid score in at least one of the national-level eligibility tests such as CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT or GATE before June 30.

Last semester students too can submit applications. However, they have to submit the Degree certificates before September 30. For selection, candidates will be assessed based on their performance in the Professional Aptitude Test conducted by the institute, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview, besides that in examinations from Class 10 onwards.

Fellow Programme in Management
