JEE Main: Five questions from Maths, Chemistry excluded; results to be out soon

New Delhi: Five questions have been excluded from the first session of the National Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE-Main).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the final answer key of the first session. It has excluded one question of the Maths exam held in the second shift on January 25, one question of the Maths exam in the first shift held on January 29, and two questions of the Maths exam in the second shift held on February 1.

It has also excluded one question from the chemistry exam held in the first shift on February 1. Answers to two questions have been altered from what was published in the first answer key. No marks will be given for the answers to the questions excluded.

Over nine lakh people applied for the first session. Of this, 8.6 lakh students (95.8%) appeared for the exam. According to officials, the results will be published soon.
