New Delhi: The last paper of the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) for Class 10 has disappointed many students as they found it difficult and lengthy. The concluding paper on Mathematics was held on Tuesday.

According to the students, the questions asked for the Maths exam were in no way connected with the model questions and they could not solve the 38 questions within the stipulated time period of three hours.

Although 20 of the questions were in the form of multiple-choice questions, the students had to perform elaborate calculations to arrive at the right answers. Even the questions that carried one mark each required elaborate steps to solve.

According to teachers, the questions left even the average students struggling and those from the case study and probability sections were indeed complex. All three sets of question papers given to the CBSE schools in Kerala were difficult and of these, the third set was the most difficult one.

The Physics examination that had been held earlier too was difficult for students.
