UAE schedule

In the United Arab Emirates (UAE) the test will begin at 12.30 p.m. Candidates will be allowed into the hall from 10 am to 12 noon.

Abraham Manohar, Principal of the Dubai Indian High School, who is in-charge of the NEET test in the UAE, told Manorama that those who arrive after 12 noon would not be allowed to write the test.

This is in view of the time required to complete the procedures ahead of the exam. He reminded the candidates that those who arrived according to the Indian Standard Time were not allowed into the hall last year and that they should be present before 12 noon UAE time.

All preparations for the test were complete and that 90 trained officials had been appointed to conduct the test, Manohar said.

In all 1,687 candidates are appearing for the NEET in four centres in the UAE. These centres are: Abu Dhabi Indian High School (Muroor), Dubai Indian High School; Bhavan’s Pearl Wisdom School, Hor al Anz; and Sharjah India International School.

GCC centres

The largest number of candidates for the NEET from the Gulf have registered themselves from the UAE which has over 100 CBSE schools and nine schools that follow the Kerala syllabus. Owing to this, four exam centres were allotted this year while there were only three centres last year. The other centres in the Gulf are in Riyadh, Kuwait City, Manama, and Doha.
