Diploma in Journalism (Malayalam) at IIMC; entrance test in June

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has invited applications for admission to the one-year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Malayalam) to be held at its branch in Kottayam.

The application must reach Delhi by post latest by May 22.

Eligibility

Applicants should have under-graduate degree. Those who are awaiting their UG Degree results can also apply.

The candidate must not be aged over 25 years as on August 1, 2023. The age is relaxed up to 30 years for Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories and the specially-abled. The limit is 28 years for the Other Backward Classes.

How to apply

A model of the application form is available on the website www.iimc.gov.in.

The downloaded form can be duly filled in by the candidate in his or her own handwriting in English, and sent to the Assistant Registrar, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aruna Asif Ali Marg, New Delhi – 110067, along with the required documents.

A soft copy of the application and the enclosed documents must also be emailed to the email id languagecoursesiimc2023@gmail.com.

The application fee of Rs 800 can be remitted online. The fee relaxations are: Rs 600 for OBCs/ EWS; Rs 550 for Transgenders/SCs, STs; and Rs 500 for specially abled candidates.

The entrance examination will be conducted on June 18 for three hours from 11 am at New Delhi and at the IIMC campus at Pambady in Kerala's Kottayam district. The results will be published on June 30.
