Thiruvananthapuram: The trial allotment lists for admissions to first-year Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary courses in Kerala have been released.

Of the total 4,59,119 applications for the Plus-Two stage, allotments have been made to 2,38,879 merit seats. However, the trial allotment lists have been released withholding the 63,474 reservation seats. These seats, reserved for Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections, would be allowed in the final allotment in the first phase.

The trial allotment status can be checked by logging in to the single-window portal www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in. The applicants can also make corrections and additions to the application by clicking on the ‘edit application’ link until 5 pm on June 15.

14 more batches
The Government has decided to grant more seats in those schools where seats are short at this stage. Besides allowing 81 additional batches and up to 30 per cent marginal seats, the trial allotment was made after including 14 batches to schools in Malappuram where the student strength was less.

Next allotments
The final main allotment for admissions to Plus One will have three allotment stages this time too. Following the trial allotment, the first allotment will be released on June 19 and the third allotment will be published on July 1.

The date for the second allotment would be announced later.

Fresh applications can be made for supplementary allotments after the first allotment is published.

What all data can be edited
The students who have changes in their marks after SSLC revaluation can check the grade details, save and confirm the changes. There would not be another chance for correction during the main allotment phase.

Those who need help can approach the help desks set up in high schools and higher secondary schools.

Corrections and additions can be made to the details excluding the information provided by the applicant while creating a login id to submit the application through the single-window platform. In other words, all information except the registration number for the SSLC exam, scheme of study, mobile number and birth date can be changed.

More information can also be added if required.

After considering the admission possibility based on the trial allotment, the applicant can also change the optional subjects and the school, or give fresh options.

As the admissions received by furnishing false information would be cancelled, the candidates should be careful while entering data only in the application.
