KEAM results out: Sanjay P Mallar from Kannur bags first rank

Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM 2023) entrance examination were published on Monday. Higher Education Minister Dr R Bindu announced the rank list at a press conference here. 

Kannur native Sanjay P Mallar secured the first rank with 583 marks, followed by Kottayam natives Ashique Skenny (575 marks) and Freddy George Robin (572) in the second and third ranks.

Pathanamthitta native S J Chethana came first in the Scheduled Caste category with 441 marks, while Kozhikode native Suryadev Vinod came second with 437 marks. 

In the Scheduled Tribe category, Ernakulam native Eden Vinu John came first with 387 marks, while Palakkad native S Anagha secured the second rank with 364 marks.

The minister congratulated all the rank holders.

A total of 49,671 people made it to the rank list this time, of whom 24,325 are girls and 25,346 are boys.

Around 2,043 students from the state higher secondary syllabus and 2,790 from CBSE have qualified in the top 5,000 spots.

The exam was held on May 17 and was attended by more than 1.23 lakh students. The result for the same was declared on May 31, along with the final answer key. However, the rank list was not released on May 31.
