Thiruvananthapuram: Applications are invited for the supplementary allotment for admission to Plus-One higher secondary and vocational higher secondary courses. Applications should be submitted online via the single-window portal.

The applications for higher secondary section could be submitted until 5 pm on July 10. Meanwhile, applications for the vocational higher secondary stream could be submitted until 4 pm on July 12.

Those who haven’t got admission despite applying in the main stages, whose applications were rejected due to mistakes and those who haven’t applied until now can apply during the supplementary stage.

Candidates should apply against the merit seats that are vacant in government higher secondary schools. The details about the seats that are open for allotment have been published on the single-window web portal. Refer this before choosing the school–subject options.

Even though the Department of Public Education had announced that more seats and temporary batches would be allowed in the areas where there is a shortage of seats, Education Minister V Sivankutty clarified that it would be done only after the first supplementary allotment. Moreover, this would be further discussed in a meeting convened by the Chief Minister.
