Application for full-time three-year LLB course closes on July 20

Graduates who are interested in pursuing full-time three-year LLB courses at the government law colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode or at the nine private law colleges in Kerala can apply until July 20.
There are 420 seats up for grabs at the government law colleges. Meanwhile, there are 570 seats at the private colleges.
The applicants could avail the reservation benefits as per the Kerala government’s guidelines.
The application fee of Rs 685 could be paid online; it is Rs 345 for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories.

There is no need to send the copy of the application via post.
The two-hour computer based entrance test would be conducted on August 13 at the selected centres in Kerala.
Eligibility
Those who have passed any degree with at least 45% marks or are awaiting the results can apply (it is 42% and 40% respectively for Backward/Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories).
Any long-distance/correspondence degree too would be accepted. However, those who have completed degree or post-graduate courses from any open university without acquiring the basic qualification would not be considered.
Candidates need to score at least 10% marks in the entrance test; however, those from the Scheduled Caste/Tribe categories need 5% marks.
There is no lower-age bar while the upper-age limit would be determined based on the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Question pattern
The entrance test would have 200 objective-type questions on General English (60 marks), General Knowledge (45), Arithmetic Skills and Reasoning (25) and Legal Aptitude (70). Each correct answer carries three marks while one mark would be reduced for the wrong answer.
