Engineering admissions in Kerala: Option registration begins

Thiruvananthapuram: The registration of options for admission to engineering courses in Kerala has started on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in

Options could be submitted till July 25 and the first phase mock allotment is on July 28. The first main allotment list will be published on July 29 and candidates who are allotted seats can submit fees during the next four days. However, students who receive the first allotment need not report at the colleges.

Allotment for Pharmacy, Architecture courses

Allotment for the Pharmacy and Architecture courses will be conducted along with the second allotment for engineering, said authorities.

Medical allotment

Meanwhile, allotment for MBBS and other medical courses will be conducted in the state after the schedule is announced by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Officials at the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) said that they are planning to invite options for medical courses from July 26 – the day after the deadline of the first phase to submit options for engineering courses.

Under the rules, all admission procedures related to medical courses have to be completed by the second week of August. Helpline number of CEE: 0471-2525300.
