Thrissur: Higher secondary students whose marks were revised after the revaluation of examination answer sheets are running helter-skelter to get a new certificate.

The certificates as per the original results were distributed to students just before the results of the revaluation came out. Those students whose marks were altered in the revaluation need to first surrender their first mark list at their respective schools in order to get the new one.

Students are arriving in person at the Higher Secondary Directorate in Thiruvananthapuram to get the new certificate in time. Often it takes at least two weeks to get the new certificate by applying through the school.

Those who are seeking admission in educational institutions in other states or abroad have to submit their original certificate along with the application.
