GATE 2024: Deadline for registrations without fine extended to Oct 12

New Delhi: The deadline to register for the upcoming GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) has been extended to October 12 without a fine. Registrations could be conducted by submitting a fine from October 13 to 20.

GATE is the eligibility exam for pursuing postgraduate and PhD programs with Central government grants at IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) and other reputed institutions.

This is the second time that the last date for registrations is being extended. Earlier, it was announced that the process would be completed by October 5. GATE will take place from February 3 to 11, 2024. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, is in charge of the exam.
