New Delhi: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), the national-level entrance exam for admission to law courses run by top universities in the country, will be held on December 3. The registration process for the test will be completed by November 3.

The Consortium of National Law Universities has made changes to the syllabus and exam pattern this year. The total number of questions needed to be answered by the candidates in the two-hour-long examination has been reduced to 120 from 150.

There will be five sections: English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The first four sections will feature passages of 450 words, followed by a series of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark. There is a negative marking for incorrect answers, -0.25 for every wrong answer. For details, log on to https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/.
