Saintgits hosts RASSE- 3rd international conference of IEEE

Kottayam: Saintgits College of Engineering hosted RASSE (Recent Advances in Systems Science and Engineering), the third IEEE International Conference from the 8th to the 11th of November 2023. The first conference in this series was held in 2021 in Shanghai, China and the second in 2022 in Tainan, Taiwan. 

IEEE is a leading forum for researchers, engineers, practitioners, and educators to exchange state-of-the-art research results and innovations, discuss industrial practices and define future research topics. The conference was inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice Dr R Bindu.

“RASSE aimed to provide a platform for disseminating the latest research findings and to promote discussion on the key challenges and opportunities in the field of Systems Science and Engineering”, said Dr Sudha T, Principal, Saintgits College of Engineering.

Pao-Ann Hsiung, National Chung Cheng University, Deepak Waikar, Singapore Institute of Technology, Ramesh Loganathan, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, Nikhil Malhotra, Maker’s Lab & Tech Mahindra were among the key academic and industry speakers.

The various topics discussed in the conference include Systems Science and Engineering methodology, integrated systems, complex systems, cyber-physical systems, control systems, optimization and decision-making, data science and machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, and robotics applications in aerospace, manufacturing, transportation systems etc.

“RASSE facilitated networking and collaboration between researchers, engineers, practitioners, and educators, paving the way for future collaborations”, said MD Mathew, Associate professor and dean of Research, at Saintgits College of Engineering.
