New Delhi: The MBBS students of the 2020-21 batch are likely to get another chance to complete their first-year examinations.

The proposal in this regard is being contemplated given demand from several quarters, including Mohan Kunnummel, Vice-Chancellor of the Kerala University of Health Sciences, during a recent meeting of the National Medical Council (NMC).

Although the MBBS students are given a maximum of four chances to pass their examinations, they pointed out that these students took their admissions to the course when the COVID pandemic was at its peak.
It is learned that the UG Medical Education board under the NMC is soon slated to decide on this.
