Thiruvananthapuram: The students are being forced to appear for two exams a day in the Kerala higher secondary annual model exam this time as well. The exam was held in the same manner last year, while in the preceding years, there was only one test each day.

Though the students and teachers pointed out that one exam need be conducted in the same pattern as the public exam and that having two exams a day would not benefit students, the examination department didn’t heed their requests.

This time, the model exam will be held from February 15 to 21. The department officials explained that two exams are being conducted daily to avoid losing class days as much as possible. The annual general examination will commence on March 1.
