New Delhi: Centre Board of Secondary Education opened an online portal for children with special needs (CSWN) appearing in the 2024 board exams. CBSE directed all its schools to fill in details of CWSN students and update the status on the ‘Pariksha Sangam’ portal.

The online application window will remain open to upload documents and fill in the details till January 24.

In a circular, the CBSE board said, “requests sent earlier to the CBSE for availing exemptions by the schools will also be uploaded by the schools on the web during the above-said schedule. No request for exemption will be entertained after 24.01.2024 and in offline mode.”

“If the CWSN students desire to avail any facilities/exemptions permissible by CBSE during the examinations, the request for the same can be made by the concerned school through the web portal as it was done last year,” CBSE said.

Schools will have to log in with their login ID and password. The list of CWSN students enrolled in their schools and the facilities permissible to each category of students as per their disability will be shown on screen.
