The SSLC exams are just around the corner, and the coming days are crucial for those preparing for the major test.

It doesn't matter if you have covered all the portions and studied answers for all potential questions as long as you are not mentally and physically prepared to attend the exams. Here are some tips to prepare well to ensure that you will be able to give your best performance in the exams:

Students should take extra care to keep their body and mind healthy. Eating out and unnecessary travel should be avoided to ensure that the students stay healthy. You should not lose a year due to illness.

Imagine clearing the exam with flying colours whenever you feel bored. Don't skip sleep to study. Take a five-minute break every hour and drink warm water.

It is better to avoid the mobile phone and television till the exams are over. To remember the studied portions, skim through the notes daily, especially before sleeping at night. Check the notes once again in the morning.

Imagine the teachers teaching the lessons when you are engaged in some other activity.

On exam days

  • Wake up at the usual hour
  • Prepare the essential items for the exam
  • Reach the school at least 30 minutes in advance
  • Utilise the 15 minutes before the exam effectively. Read the question paper carefully.
  • Use a pencil to number the questions that you can easily answer.
  • Allot time to each question based on the marks they carry.
  • Write the answers of questions you know well on the first page. Write them legibly and with minimum corrections.
  • Focus only on the exam.
