Pudukkad: Gautham Narayan, third-year B Com student, of Prajyoti Niketan College Pudukad has brought pride to his institution by clinching the second position in the prestigious All India Inter-University National Youth Festival in the instrumental music (non-percussion) category. The competition was hosted at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, attracting talented musicians from universities across the nation.
Calicut University emerged as a powerhouse of talent during the event, with participants showcasing exemplary skills across various categories. Noteworthy achievers from Calicut University include K V Arun from Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur, who secured the second place in spot painting, and Bipin Babu from College of Fine Arts, Thrissur, claiming the runner-up position in collage making.
Furthermore, the group song category witnessed a stellar performance from Farook College, Kozhikode, with their team comprising V P Ameena Hameed, A Sahiya Rasin, C Anamika, Minha Subair, E Sibhathulla, and P M Rishiprabha, securing the third position.
