Thiruvananthapuram; The first-term examinations, commonly referred to as the Onam examinations, for students up to the 10th standard in schools following the Kerala syllabus will be conducted from September 3 to 12, as announced by the Department of General Education.

Onam exam dates & timetable

  • High School exams will begin on September 3.
  • Upper Primary exams will start on September 4.
  • Lower Primary exams are scheduled to begin on September 6.

The Department of General Education has published the examination timetable.

In case the government declares a holiday on any examination day, the affected exam will be rescheduled to September 13.

Onam holidays
Schools are set to close for the Onam vacation on September 13 and will reopen on September 23.
